Round-the-world cruises usually last upwards of 90 days, which is a big chunk of time for working folks. What if you shortened the time span by taking them there by private jet? And offered themed adventures and featured your own line of worldwide luxury hotels? That's what Four Seasons will be doing in 2015 with a retrofitted Boeing 757.
The 52 fold-out Italian leather seats will be arranged in a 2x2 configuration. Seating will be assigned on a first-come, first served basis, but if you want to travel with your partner, you will be seated side by side. In addition to the 51 other guests who will embark on the 2015 version of this adventure, you'll have a Travel Manager, two assistant Travel Managers, a Four Season's concierge, a Four Season's Global Guest Services Manager, an executive chef, the flight crew and a photographer to chronicle your adventures which take you to Four Seasons Hotels with each stop.
There are three adventures planned for 2015 - the first being a 24-day, 9-destination round-the world tour in February, the second a 16-day, 6 city excursion with a focus on the arts in April which includes stops in Prague and St. Petersburg, and a final 24-day, 9 destination around the world adventure in August which will include a stop at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge in the Serengeti.
If group travel isn't for you, you can plan your own itinerary and plan an adventure of your own, with or without help from the Four Season's award-winning staff.
Cost of the two Around the World adventures is USD $119,000 based on double occupancy, singles add an extra USD $11,000; The April "Backstage With The Arts" excursion, which tours Europe, costs $69,000 based on double occupancy, singles add an extra USD $8,000.
